Elections:
The Primary Election will be held on August 9, 2022 and the General Election will be held on November 8, 2022. Newport residents will vote at Newport Elementary School located at 851 6th Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  

You Can Vote if You Meet These requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age on Election Day
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have been a Minnesota resident for at least 20 days before the election
• Must have any felony conviction record discharged, expired or completed
• Must not be under a court-ordered guardianship where the court has revoked your voting rights
• Must not be ruled legally incompetent by a court of law

Voter Registration
