CITY ADMINISTRATION

City Administration is responsible for executing the policies and procedures that have been adopted by the Newport City Council. Some of the functions of the Administration Department are: representing the interests of the City with the State and other agencies, issuing permits and licenses, attracting new businesses within the City, preparing agendas, documents, and minutes for the City Council meetings.
